Why It Won: The colorful packaging, the fun flavors (strawberry, orange, coconut), the baby blue string—everything about Cocolab Cocofloss is just more elevated than traditional floss. The string is soft and rounded so it feels gentle and cushy, and it’s designed with expandable, woven fibers that give it just enough texture to grab and lift away plaque—along with anything else that might be stuck between your teeth. Let’s just say, this floss gets teeth clean. The fruity flavors don’t taste noticeably fruity while you floss, which we definitely prefer to that fake, overly minty taste some other options have. We wouldn’t go as far as saying this little blue string makes flossing fun—it’s still flossing, after all—but maybe fun adjacent? And for a dental hygiene product, that’s a 10/10. (It’s also worth mentioning that some PFAS, manmade “forever chemicals” that have been shown to be carcinogenic, are used as floss coating by some—but not all—other brands to make the string smooth and slippery; Cocolab uses coconut oil and wax instead.)
